thebelsareinert: (TYL - I'll Overlord your face off)
[Greetings, Routers! We've got Hiro here, on Route 31, looking like he's in a bit of a rush - well, that's because he is. His Yanmega and Honchkrow are circling above him, and he's just jogging along without a care in the world. Except he's actually got a lot of them, and right now, he has no idea what to do with them.]

Hey, you new guys out there? Any of you who just got here? If you see a girl named Yuzu around Route 29 or Cherrygrove, do me a favor and make sure she's safe. I'm heading down there to bring her out to Violet or Goldenrod now, but I can't do anything about helping her while I'm all the way up here. We'd both really appreciate whatever help you could give her.

[Filtered to Naoya, Atsuro, and Midori] )

[FILTER: To anyone Hiro's told about the lockdown/anyone who knows about it, even a little]

[Hiro sighs after finishing the message to his cousin and best friend and gives the camera a look, before realizing maybe - doubtful - he could get some help on this.]

... So what's a good way to convince someone conquering the world, if it's for the right reasons, is the right thing to do?
thebelsareinert: (burning fighting spirit go!!!!)
[Today on Hiro TV, you're being greeted to a running montage! If you can see straight through the running picture, you will find Hiro making his way up Route 34, [livejournal.com profile] destinybonds riding piggyback on-- wait, she's not riding, her lifeless husk of a soulless body is being carried piggyback-- and Hiro's Honchkrow is taking out any Shedinja that get near via the sky while Hiro and Kyoko's Lickilicky make a break for it on land.]

... Well I uh--

I think we can all agree that we know what those stupid birds were trying to tell us now. [Hiro's Honchkrow caws and gives his trainer an angry look from above, temporarily stopping his attacks to explain to his trainer he is far above those stupid, stupid little Murkrow.] Dammi-- No, Yatagarasu, I didn't mean you-- The other stupid birds! Not you! Now keep going!

[Accepting that (for now), the Honchkrow resumes whacking Shedinja out of the way so Hiro and his package can keep making their way to the city. Luckily, the Lickilicky is using Rollout on the grounded Shedinja, but man they REALLY seem to want Hiro's soul for some reason.]

"Get the hell inside and stay there."

I just hope somebody actually got the message. If you can, hole up until these things fade away like they usually do after a couple days or we figure out a way to kill them all. [Hiro grins wearily, hoping to end with a joke.] Anyone know where they keep the bombs?

... [He pauses though, remembering something, and scowls.]

And I take it back, they are definitely not cool.

[The feed ends to more running/action. Video responses will take place after Hiro's holed up in the first building he can find and made sure Kyoko isn't dead or anything, action responses can take place anywhere from the action to Hiro barging into some random building in Goldenrod looking for safety... with an unconscious girl on his back.]
thebelsareinert: (wait I triggered the yuzu route?)
[Evening, Routers! Today we have ourselves what makes to be a very jolly reuniuon, because Hiro here has found himself at the Sudowudo crossing, and he's just taken care of the that silly old Rock type that thinks it's a tree. Oh you silly Sudowudo, you don't even fit!]

I still don't get why this is only one way, but... That's weird, I told them to be here. [Hiro steps forward towards the Violet side, the camera in his hand aiming up towards the sky, giving a nice view of what's about to happen.] I wonder what happened?

[And here enters a speedy Doduo running along with Gemini riding on it! But the Doduo's heads are fighting each other and not really looking at what's in front of them. And it is moving fast.]

--Whoa, whoa! Easy now! Quit fighin' already! We're gonna bump into something if you two don't watch it!

[And on the other hand, taking up the rear, is a not-so-fast Kyoko walking behind the Doduo, waving her hand in front of her face to avoid the incoming dust. Jesus, those things run fast.]

Watch [cough] where you're running!

...!?

[Bump into something? No no, Gemini, it's knocking Hiro down and practically trampling someone.]

Gemini--!? Kyoko--!? What're you guys--!?

Eh? [Gemini looks around atop her bird. The Doduo still has its feet on Hiro.]

Did I just hear Hiro a minute ago? I could've sworn that I heard his voice.

[Oh. Kyoko saw that, but. well, she can see he's fine. And this is a little payback for that Krabby incident. Either way she's jogging a bit to catch up, stopping just short of the scene of the accident.]

Nah. You're imagining things. [She plants a hand on her hip, and putting a piece of pocky in her mouth.]

Guys... This is a really, really crappy way to thank someone...

[... And yes, there's Hiro under the Doduo, trying to get someone's attention. HELP ME, PLEASE, BEFORE THE HEADS NOTICE ME.]

((Hiro/Gemini/Kyoko triple post! If you're tagging over the network, any of the trio will be tagging seperately, and if you, for whatever reason, are also at the crossing, action tag order will go Your Character -> Gemini -> Kyoko -> Hiro -> Your Character again!))
thebelsareinert: (we'll make it out of this together)
[The video feed opens to a rather ragtag looking bunch. Hiro's sitting down with a certain trio of Pokemon - his Nosepass, Yanmega, and Parasect - as his Combusken films. In and around the borders, Gemini, Atsuro, and Naoya are all hanging around, and from the looks of it... This odd quartet is in Ecruteak?]

That's two down, everybody. This one was a lot closer, but I think it was worth it to have a real challenge. It was good experience.

[Hiro stands up and, finally, flashes a little pin - his new badge - to the screen. As he does so, his Parasect raaaaaises his claw-- then SLAMS it down, as if making some grand statement. ... Well, you know good ol' quiet Fungus Jack.]

This and Zephyr makes me one fourth of the way done. I wish there was an easier way to get around, but the van trip really helped. I think we're going to head to Goldenrod next so we can get back to Violet to meet up with the others. I've really been looking forward to checking that place out.

... But first I'm going to look around here. Is there anything good to check out? There's a theatre and a couple of towers; I'm pretty sure I won't be able to see it all, if we're only here a day or two, so what's the best thing to see? I'd like to make the best of this while I can.

[Hiro pauses, about to hang up, then he recalls something.]

Oh yeah. Did anyone else see that... dragon thing earlier? Back in Olivine? It sounds like it flew around everywhere, around the same time that music started playing, but now I don't know where it went. It was awesome looking though. Wish I could have caught it.

[OOC: Atsuro, Naoya, and Gemini also have tagging rights on this post should they want to use them!]
thebelsareinert: (whooooa simmer down there)
[Today's entry opens with Hiro talking behind the camera - he's filming his Murkrow and his Snorunt, it looks like. They're in the middle of Violet City, not too far from Sprout Tower. Nice night for a walk really.]

With work and getting my badge last week, I figued it was time to finally look into the catalogue from Goldenrod. Turns out there were actually a few stones I could use - one of them even specifically mentions Daemon, but when I offered it to him he tried to rip up the order form. [Hiro makes a face.] I guess that's off the table for now.

I did send out for a Dusk Stone and a Dawn Stone, for my Murkrow and my Snorunt, so I'm hoping something pretty cool is about to happen. Do two evolve at the same time often?

Either way, here we go.

[Hiro sets the camera down behind him now, walking forward to hand each of his Pokemon their stone - and instantly, bright light takes over each of them. If you need to look away from the screen, no one blames you. If you're watching in the middle of Violet, these changing forms are illuminating the night, eventually darkening and taking their final shape.]

... Pretty cool. How does it feel, guys? Any problems?

[The Honchkrow looks over himself, before giving Hiro what seems to be a smirk and setting off into the night with a loud CAW. The Froslass, on the other hand, slides up next to Hiro as he's about to give chase, and makes herself comfortable.]

W-Whoa. You're pretty cold, aren't you...?

[CAW]

... I'd better deal with that. Time to go.

[Shivering just a little as the Ice/Ghost Pokemon wraps herself around his leg, Hiro reaches for the camera to turn it off.]

((If you're out in Violet right now and want to stumble across Hiro and his Froslass making chase, feel free! Alternatively, if you'd like to encounter the Honchkrow stretching his wings, that works too.))
thebelsareinert: (wait I triggered the yuzu route?)
I've been thinking. Maybe it's about time for me to try challenging that Gym Leader. I think my team is more than strong enough, even if I use Bug types against his birds, and the sooner one of us beats him, the sooner the rest of us can.

After that, we can start moving on to the next town. I've been looking forward to Goldenrod. [he grins softly] So what usually happens when a group gets ready to fight the--

Welcome to Good Oddish, home of the Good Oddish, can I take your Ord-ish?

[Hiro grimaces as the loud, cheesy, automated greeting finishes saying hello to the customer on the other end of his headset, his train of thought interrupted completely. For those watching over video, his outfit has changed completely. He's now wearing an Oddish-themed fast food uniform, complete with cheesy nametag and all. Even his everpresent headphones have been replaced with a headset, complete with leaves on either side to finish the ensemble.]

Can someone explain to me why there's even a drive-through lane here if there aren't any cars? Is the customer walking or something? [Hiro sighs.] I know I needed money, but I'm started to regret taking on such a--

[At this point, a trainer riding on a Dodrio walks up to the window Hiro has been standing next to, looking at Hiro expectantly.]

... Oh. That definitely explains it.

[..........]

Let me get your order.

[And with that, the feed cuts as Hiro gets to work. If you're IN Violet, feel free to be a customer stopping by for a snack or meal of some kind, or just to see Hiro FINALLY working! Whatever floats your boat.]
thebelsareinert: (whachoo talkin bout)
[If you're in Violet City, or if you're watching today's entry of "new Pokemon weekly", today we'll be looking at Hiro's newest party members. All of which are messing around and getting filmed while Hiro watches.]

... I hope this is safe.

[What is it that he hopes is safe? The Hippopotas is letting out a constant stream of sand from the hole in its back. Nothing odd about that, right? ... Well, then - in turns - the Gible and Cranidos are hopping on top of the sand stream and letting it build up.]

Here it comes...

[There's a WHOOSH, and the Gible goes FLYING UP INTO THE AIR, PROPELLED BY SAND.] ... You know, that kind of looks like fun.

[*BOOM*! The Gible's landed, making a small crater, and the Cranidos hops on for his turn.]

... At least they're durable.
thebelsareinert: (whooooa simmer down there)
[As the video comes on, you can tell Hiro is COLD. A bit blue and red in the face, shaking, you have to wonder why in the world he is out right now. And, well, you might recall he's in the middle of Route 31 and Johto's decided that it's winter again, so it's 14 degrees out and all Hiro has to warm himself is a little Torchic, which is sitting nearby emitting some flames.]

I've just got one thing to say to you guys.

[achoo! ... yup. Hiro's got himself quite the cold now.]

... Sorry.

[s-sniff sniff sniffle. The little Torchic looks up at Hiro curiously, but Hiro just shakes his head. He has something important to say.]

Anyway... Here goes. Whoever decides the weather around here can kiss my freezing--

[AAA-CHOO!]

...

Y-You get the idea.

[He gives the screen a final sour look, before picking up his Torchic and clicking the screen off.]
thebelsareinert: (whachoo talkin bout)
Is it me, or are these bugs starting to get tired? They don't seem as angry as they were on the first day of all this.

[As if to prove his point, Hiro's Larvitar - which was having trouble taking out the things en masse a few days prior - now attacks a pair at once and takes them out no problem.]

They're still mad, but I think it's getting close to an end. I've actually been able to try catching a few of them now. Lucky me, this nose thing found me earlier and decided to team up with me. Pretty cool of it actually.

[Hiro shifts the camera to his newest team member, the stray Nosepass that he discovered after its master, Don Paolo, vanished mysteriously from Johto. The Nosepass goes to take out some more bugs, and Hiro turns back to the screen.]

By the way... Anyone else read what the thing says about Paras? Hold on a second--

[After hitting some buttons, during the gd video, some text scrolls over the screen. Thank you being BFFs with a super hacker.]

Paras has parasitic mushrooms growing on its back called tochukaso. They grow large by drawing nutrients from this Bug Pokémon host. They are highly valued as a medicine for extending life.

It is doused with mushroom spores when it is born. As its body grows, mushrooms sprout from its back.

Pretty cool, huh? [... and sort of cruel and demented. feel free to call him on that.] Couldn't help myself to a few more of them after reading that.

Filtered to Naoya

Do you see anything you like? I saved my last ball for you.

Filtered to Squalo

I'm in Violet now. When will it be possible to get that Torchic egg?

[Hitting the hay! Will tag back any waiting tags upon waking up and returning from class such o/]
thebelsareinert: (wait I triggered the yuzu route?)
[Tonight, Hiro is pondering things. He's just sitting there, now in a hotel room in Violet City, sitting down on his new bed with three new eggs. That's right, three eggs. And a shirtless Hiro with a towel around his neck. ... Before you ask, though, the headphones are still on.]

Three eggs... I know where these two came from-- [he pushes aside the Murkrow and Nidoran eggs, then stares at the mysterious MunchSnorlax one. not that he knows what's in there] But this one was just waiting for me. "April Fools"? ... A free gift is an April Fools joke? Heh. I'm okay with that. Can't wait to see what I got!

[he grins a little. .... then sighs and pushes the eggs aside.]

Still, I don't get it. With all of these demo-- these Pokemon, society here should have fallen apart. Shouldn't it? Is it because everyone here is too concerned with leaving or getting these badges? Do they just not understand what kind of power they have now?

Maybe that just proves humans and demons can coexist.

[he shakes his head, sighing again]

... I wish Naoya was here. He'd know what to-- [he glances up, then catches sight of the PokeGear. filming him. in all his shirtless glory.]

.............

Oh.

[screen? meet Hiro's hand. naturally, replies will be somewhat delayed, more dry, and-- oh, yes, fully clothed.]
thebelsareinert: (burning fighting spirit go!!!!)
[Somewhere in the middle of New Bark, one might find a blue haired youth sitting with his Larvitar attempting to figure out his PokeGear.]

Is this an old COMP model? Doesn't really look like it, but only Atsuro would know for sure. [he shakes his head] It looks like all my demons and macca are gone too. ... No, not gone. They're probably still in my COMP. Which means that--

[a beep!, and the PokeGear's video function whirrs to life.]

-- I really need to leave. [at the sound of Larvitar making a noise on the side, Hiro glances away from the screen, then back to it.] Oh, awesome. I got it working even without Atsuro here.

... Might as well get right into it.

Listen, I don't know where I am, but I need to get back to Tokyo.

[he pauses, then suddenly flares up a little]

Does this at least have a TV function? Internet? I want to check the news about the lockdown. That is, if the government's even let it have that name. It's probably been really covered up outside too.

[he shakes his head again, getting just a bit angry. in a few hours, everything will be...]

Listen I'm running out of time! If you know where I am and how I can get back to Tokyo, tell me as soon as you can!

[with that, he ends the feed [/VIDEO] and gets up, heading back towards the Professor's place. He figures if there's a scientist handing out demons, he's got to have answers.

... Someone want to stop him from breaking Elm's door down?]
